Sharing Darklang

Naming

Darklang is called "darklang", short for "Darklang" "language". It's pronounced "dark-lang". The "D" may be capitalized as Darklang is a proper noun, but feel free to leave it lowercase (as we do in our logo). The "l" is never capitalized, and Darklang is one word, not two (so no spaces between "Darklang" and "lang").

Positioning / market

We don't think of Darklang as "Low Code" or "No code" as it is designed for engineers to write code. That said, it does have some things in common, so we've taken to calling it "Just Code". We do think Darklang fits into the "serverless" bucket, and "deployless" is another word we use for it.
